Cierra Fogle (b. 2002, Aurora, CO raised Cincinnati, OH) is a 22-year-old mixed media artist whose work blends painting, sculpture, and conceptual performance. Drawing from her rural and urban Midwest roots, Fogle uses found objects, memories, and personal artifacts to create dynamic works that explore themes of ancestry, time, triumph, and energy. Her paintings and sculptures incorporate materials with histories, while her performances tap into the rhythms of nature, ancestral percussion, past lives and soundscapes. Influenced by family, fractals, anatomy, and energy pressure points, Fogle’s art invites viewers to explore the interconnectedness of the self, nature, textures and the world around us.
